One time my roomate didn't have any sugar so he made kool aid by putting maple syrup in water with the kool aid mix. It tasted like those candy NERDS. substituting the cold water with the vodka

I take a packet of Kool-Aid, a glass and a pitcher.
I put the pitcher and the glass on the counter. I put about
four cubes of ice in the glass and pour in about 12 ounces of Diet Pepsi or Coca Cola. Then I drink it.
I know it sounds nuts but somehow it works.
I also have a great recipe for an ice cream cone that uses
both chocolate and vanilla ice cream. Man that's livin.

2 quarts water
1 cup sugar
1 750 ml bottle Appleton's estate-bottled dark rum
stir well and ENJOY!
2 bottle of everclear
2 dz oranges
2dz apples
any flavor kool-aid
1/2 trash canof water
slice fruit and add to kool-aid mixture w/ everclear
let set overnight or at least 6 hours
try not to fall down
