The fact is that many people whom have been raped in the past have fantasies
about it.
Rape fantasies usually have very little to do with actual rape. They are more
about a woman being able to shake free of the binds of society's pressures and,
by being "forced" into the situation, not feeling as though she has
to take responsibility for what happens.
Women aren't supposed to truly enjoy sex.. only sluts really want it (says society).
But when being "raped", they can't help what happens and so it's
not her fault if she enjoys what happens. Or perhaps she has a particular fantasy
that she would never act out on her own but if she were to be "forced"
into it then she can go through with it without the guilt. After all, she didn't
want it to happen. ;c)
This is only one of the reasons people have rape fantasies... fact is there
are as many reasons as there are people.
I don't think it's so important why the fantasies exist as it is to understand
that it's ok to fantasize. There is nothing wrong about fantasizing no matter
the focus of it. There are horrible tragedies in this world... rape, incest,
pedophilia, murder... these are truly horrid things that should never happen
to anyone. And while we may not understand why someone would want to fantasize
about these things be it sexual or otherwise, we should encourage people not
to be ashamed of their desires.
Better to commit a fantasy than a felony.
