Subject: Nice guys vs. assholesOk.. that's the only way to put it. Basically, it's this question. Which do
women prefer? A decent-looking romantic guy who would bend over backward to
make you happy, or a concieted, cocky asshole who thinks he knows you're only
there because he wants you to be? Screw the talks of money. I make $700/week.
This is a really simple question that has always confused the hell out of me.
And why is it that those guys who many consider to be "jerks" end
of the the women that the "nice guys" dream of being with. Case in
point.... This woman (ok, she's 22, but she is, by all means, a woman) and I
were about as close to being in a relationship as could be. We did everything
together. We were there for each other through everything. Anything she wanted,
I gave her. Anything I wanted, she gave me.. except for that commitment. Then
she met a guy who was a 100% jerk. He dogged her all the time, hit her, did
absolutely nothing for her. Later on, they were set to move from Missouri to
Arizona. That day, she decided to go with some friends for awhile, since it
was her last day in town. They weren't supposed to leave until that night. About
1:00 in the afternoon, he decided to leave, and went to Arizona without her.
He left her with no money, no food in the house, and unpaid bills. She wasn't
mad about it at all. Then a few days later, he called her and said that he would
pay for her to come out there. 2 months later, she was in Missouri, still. She
ended up selling her stereo, her TV, all of her cd's and about half of her stuff.
She still didn't have the money to get out there. He would call and bitch her
out about it. One night someone broke in her house and stole the rest of her
stuff along with her money. He bitched her out about that. I was there every
night to keep her company, and heard every conversation that went on. She would
hang up the phone and cry for an hour. He traeted her like shit. I finally gave
in and paid her way to Arizona. The woman I loved and still do to this date...
Needless to say, now that she is out there, things haven't changed... but she's
still with him....
Is there a woman out there who can explain this to me and let me know what the
hell is going on?
